Today's walkitcornwall quote

"A woodland in full colour is awesome as a forest fire, in magnitude at least, but a single tree is like a dancing tongue of flame to warm the heart."— Hal Borland

Thoroughly enjoyed the holiday, an opportunity to see cornwall up close without having to consider where to park the car. Have enjoyed the walks for several years and look ofrward to more.

Paul on BBC Countryfile

countryfile-team-photo walkitcornwall walking holidays

The BBC wanted someone with a story or two about the coast path. Via recommendation from the South West Coast Path Association and the South West Coast Path team they ended up with me!? Matt Baker was the interviewer and through a few contacts of mine we managed to get close to Nare Point on the North East tip of the Lizard peninsula. For the record we did two other places and stories but they alas are on the cutting room floor.

We lunched at Helford at the Down by the Riverside Restaurant. The result is on you tube http://www.youtube.com/walkitcornwall
