Today's walkitcornwall quote

"Each one [of the Earth's 5 million invertebrate species] plays a role in its ecosystem. It's like we're tearing the cogs out of a great machine. The machine might work after you tear out ten cogs, but what happens when you tear out a hundred?"— Scott Black,

What you need to bring with you on a walk

I spent three great years 2005-8 at the Uni of Exeter, Cornwall campus under the Institute of Cornish Studies doing an MA to get an academic view of what Cornwall is and has been and will be. This is my dissertation on how the partners involved with Cornish landscape and management, especially on the Lizard peninsula, view the importance of management, and what influences them.

A manifesto of sorts to give you an idea of our approach to walking. This not only applies to our 7 night 5 day walking holiday but also to our Lizard walking holiday and all our day walks. We love walking, we live walking.
