Today's walkitcornwall quote

"Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul" - John Muir.

Thoroughly enjoyed the holiday, an opportunity to see cornwall up close without having to consider where to park the car. Have enjoyed the walks for several years and look ofrward to more.

- Harry & Pam, South Wales

Free Walk Guides Around Cornwall

Walks Around Cornwall

My philosophy concerning walks means that there is no start and end to a walk.

There are however many options and choices.

I'll provide you with an area, some spots to see and you choose how long you want to walk for, where to explore, what direction to go in.

I've included markers with photos for you to look at and even GPS coordinates.

Walking is also about getting lost and joining up the places at the periphery of ones knowledge. Plus gaining an innate sense of direction and "being" (it needs further elaboration which is on ongoing major driving force and reason for this website but trust me) but with these pages and guided walks you can get lost within safe boundaries.

On these pages there will appear a few guided walks with maps and most will be downloadable to Google Earth and GPS/mobile devices.  (Just bought a Memory Map Adventurer 2800 GPS so I will start cracking on with those in the new year).

To start, click on the text of the walk you want. It will open up a page with a map on.

Durgan walk and photos

Takes in Helford Passage, Trebah Gardens, Durgan, Rosemullion Head, Carwinion woods and Budock Vean Hotel for a cream tea. There's lots of other quiet beaches with lots of flora and fauna and rock pooling to be done. Peace and quiet.
